BETHEL, CT — Thomas G. Mannion, 77, of Bethel, husband of Barbara (Menichini) Mannion, died on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Mannion was born at Danbury Hospital, on November 24, 1944, a son of Bethel residents, Thomas M. and Lucy (Gioia) Mannion. Raised in Bethel, Mr. Mannion attended Bethel schools and graduated from Bethel High School.
A toolmaker by trade, Mr. Mannion was a retired toolmaker with the Ambel Precision Manufacturing Corporation of Bethel.
He was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran.
A lifelong area resident, he was a member of the Bethel Jaycees, Indian Guides, Moose Lodge, American Legion Post 100 of Bethel, and St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church of Danbury.
In addition to his wife of forty-one years, Mr. Mannion is survived by a daughter Robyn Mannion Notaro and her husband Eric, two sons, Erik Mannion and Adam Mannion, and three grandchildren Dakotah, Maya, and Emma. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mannion was predeceased by a son Thomas Mannion and by a sister Joya Covillion.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 17 Granville Ave., Danbury. A prayer service will follow at 3:45 p.m.
